We went to Chimney Rock Park-lots of fun! This is way down at the bottom.....
Here we are on a hike to a gorgeous waterfall....
Here is the waterfall-it was really pretty.
Isn't this gorgeous! They filmed Last of the Mohicans and Dirty Dancing in this area.
This is the 2nd part of the hike-we were on the way up to the top of Chimney Rock-resting along the way.
At the top of Chimney Rock-out in the enclosed area way at the top-there were breathtaking views up there
At the top of the stairs with JJ in the pack.
You could see for miles and miles....
That is the top of Chimney Rock that we went out on-see the stairs that lead out there-wow!
After our hiking, we went down by Lake Lure and had a picnic lunch. You can just see Chimney Rock in the background.
JJ tried to eat my sandwich-he thought it was lots of fun to grab the sandwich and pull it apart.
